- What is the cost of treatment for one cubic meter of wastewater?
- The cost can be divided to three main categories
- Operation cost which is less than traditional WWTP by 40 %
- Electricity : INNPT technology uses 0.3 kw/m3for tertiary treatment
- INNPT Nano additives which cost less than 0.10 USD /m3
- Is the nano additives available in local market?
- INNPT nano additives is made from local clay, Kaolin, lime and bentonite which is available in huge quantities in Egypt. we are ready to make long term contract over 25 years to supply the material
- Is there any effect on environment due to the use of this technology?
- Nanotechnology is a science that treats materials by atomic and molecular use and is measured in nanometers by one millionth of a millimeter. Nanotechnology has been used with efficiency and high safety rates in various applications, including medicine, medicine, food and energy. Especially in water treatment and sanitation, nanotechnology has the ability to eliminate pollutants without direct and indirect changes to any element of the physical environment of the quality of water, soil, air, climate and various natural resources or elements of the biological environment of plant, animal, land, water or elements of the social environment From changes to individuals and communities in living styles, culture, belief, customs, traditions, human health, animals, plants and living things. Our tests on water and sludge shows that there is no toxic effect due to the use of INNPT technology .also the test results shows that the treated water is free from pathogenic bacteria and the heavy metals in industrial wastewater are within the allowed limits according to environmental laws
- What about the produced sludge? Is it save?
- We tested the produced sludge at Egyptian National Agriculture Research Center which showed the sludge is free from pathogenic bacteria, nematode.and helminthes ova as well as it contains high values of phosphors , potassium and nitrogen
- What is the effect of removing pollution and heavy metals from wastewater on produced sludge?
- The effect of heavy elements on soil was studied by conducting tests on treated sludge using nano additive and the facility report from the National Center for Agricultural Research and Environment Unit, which shows that the treatment led to the conversion of heavy elements to a non absorbance image of the plant in percentages allowing the use of sludge treated in fertilization without exceeding The values of the heavy metals dissolved in the permitted soil according to the Egyptian law governing

The cumulative effect of treated sludge in agricultural soils has been studied. Based on the previous report, it is clear that the use of treated sludge in fertilization is safe in the area of 10 tons / acre/ year over 20 years and also over 200 years where the percentage at the highest rates of 200 years did not exceed 0.566% Of the permissible limits in accordance with the requirements and limits of the EPA “US Environmental Protection Agency” as shown in the following table showing the cumulative concentration of heavy metals in agricultural soil for the rate of 10 tons / acre/ year

- Does INNPT technology needs additional or special safety precautions?
- INNPT technology needs the same safety precaution and permittee need for wastewater treatment systems as per OSHA
- What is the use of aeration tanks in existing plants in case we engaged INNPT technology in upgrading or expanding the biological plant?
- The aeration tanks will be used to increase the DO value and as a polishing stage in treatment process.
